Lines and Blood has been working slowly on figuring itself out, and deciding the schedule for the next year. We had a write up in the Stanger, which can be read on our website (Press) and the strangers, too. We also just had a write up in the Western Front, who left out the people that we talked about the whole interview: Cameron Currier, Joshua Young, Jon Bowden and Patrick Dizney. We are grateful for the article, but there are some mis-quotes, and false info...if you read it and find something a little off, please ask...We are, in fact, really focused on getting a scene going in Bellingham, and when it says "big lamps" the quote was actually "big lights." Also film is truth had mentioned that they would be interested in shelving local films, but never agreed to it, and have yet to do it because we have not asked. Anyway, besides those things it was a flattering article and we were happy to be in it.
As for what is on the horizon for LAB...The next projects that follow are in this order:
Lights and Type. - Caleb and Cam's 16mm experimental film - Just finished shooting
Releasing DVD of Afraid to Merge - End of March
Releasing DVD of A Collection of Shorts - End of March
Longwave - Satallites: Music Video - Beginning of March
LCRS - Sequel to Short Ends - April
Maytag - Short Film - May
Do You See Colors When You Close Your Eyes? - June and July
We are also working on Patrick Dizney's project
Feller. It is set in Eugene, Oregon - 1978
The research and writing team include Patrick, Caleb, Joshua, Jon and Cameron.
Thats all for now.
Love you,
LAB Films
